Expansive was founded on the idea that entrepreneurs and small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy and cornerstones of our communities.
In 2009, our founder, Bill Bennett, was an entrepreneur operating from a drab rented office. Business was booming but he felt unhappy and uninspired. He missed the collaborative energy that made work exciting and fun. Three years later, he bought 73 West Monroe in Chicago’s Loop, built out a vibrant space with great technology, a lively community, and modest pricing. The rest is Expansive history.
